I think a note needs to be added to the listings for the 1969 song, "Will You Be Staying After Sunday" by the Peppermint Rainbow that it is the "45 version." The song on the original vinyl Decca LP runs about 1:03 longer; the additional section is an instrumental coda which then tracks into the next song.

This is an interesting call, because I had always assumed what you are calling a coda was actually an introduction to the following track. The original Decca album is of no help because no times are given on either the jacket or the vinyl record. Anyone else want to chime in on this topic?

I agree (interesting call). In just checking the LP, the "coda" starts after "Will You Be Staying After Sunday" (proper) fades, but it is in the same "band" on the LP. Also, the tune is indeed similar to "Will You Be Staying After Sunday", as opposed to the next track, which the coda does track into! I guess we just need to make a call here. lol

Collector's Choice has just reissued "Will You Be Staying After Sunday" remastered and with new liner notes (CCM-0611) and the new CD lists as the first track: "Will You Be Staying After Sunday/If We Can Make It to Monday" with a time of 3:28. It tracks into the next song "Pink Lemonade" just as on the vinyl LP.
