   According to "Pop Annual", the 45 is listed at 3:29, but all CDs are approximately 3:42. There's nothing in the database to indicate "45s are listed at 3:29 but are actually 3:42" - so is this a case of an edit, an early fade, or a typo?

	Gordon, I currently only own a promo 45 for this song. But both the mono and stereo sides of it have listed times of (3:29), but actual times of (3:42), so it's probably just another "timing typo", assuming that the commercial 45 has repeated this same timing error. Edited by jimct

	My commercial 45 of "Smoky Mountain Rain" does indeed run 3:42. It is RCA Stereo PB-12084-A and states a listed time of 3:29, as has been noted. So yes, the listed time on the 45 is incorrect. Jon O.

	it is a typo...my commercial 45 issued as rca 12084 states a run time of 3:29 but actually runs 3:43 and the 45 is identical to the 3:43 cd versions in the db.....
