Pat:
In the database, CD appearances of Sheena Easton's "Modern Girl" all run 3:34-3:37... with one exception. The Gold Collection CD on EMI 37197 currently shows a run time of only 3:26. Is this a typo, or does the song really run shorter on this disc? |

As the run time info:
The actual 45 running time is (3:32), the listed time is "3:35" on the record label (EMI America 8080) |

my commercial 45 issued as emi america 8080 states a run time of 3:35 but actually runs 3:32....if you fade out the last 0:03 from 3:29 to 3:32 of the full length cd versions you'll effectively re-create the true 45 version...

So the version of "Modern Girl"
included on The Golden Collection is possibly the regular version faded 10 seconds earlier. I don't know if that 3:26 version was unique to that compilation or was also used in other Sheena Easton compilations? Edited by David Pro |
