My commercial 45 (confirmed as Bell 685, with deadwax of "8243-R", followed by "triangle 68008") has a listed time of (2:23), but an actual time of (2:34). This :11 listed/actual timing difference may very well mean my 45 version is not currently on CD, as all 10 of the current database CDs that include this song (all stereo) have the shorter actual times more similar to my 45's listed time, ranging from (2:21) to (2:25).

From what I can tell, the cd version of "Let Love Come Between Us" on Rhino's "Soul Shots Vol. 3" fades about 10-11 seconds early, compared to the 45. I don't detect any significant speed differences.

I'm not sure if there's enough to call a stereo vs. mono mix difference, but the beginning instrumentation sounds a little different to my ears. It may just be the stereo separation that clears the guitars and organ up a bit. On headphones the vocals on the stereo version have a bit more echo. Nothing else jumped out at me.

Your 45 was pressed by Monarch in California. Usually better quality than the Bestway made East Coast 45 singles on Bell. Great track, one of my favorite Soul 45's.
I turn up the good and turn down the bad!
