i only own the uk import promo cd single for the brian mcknight song "anytime" issued as motown 860-764-2 and it contains only one track as listed below.....

1-anytime (radio edit) (listed 4:08; actual 4:11)


jim was there ever a usa promo cd single issued for this song??

There were at least two promos. One had the Radio Edit (and perhaps
other tracks), and the other had three tracks which were all remixes. I
don't own either of them, but the station where I used to work had
them both.

Aaron, I don't own a 3-track promo CD single for it, but I do own two
others, and here are the specifics:

-Brian McKnight-"Anytime" (MECP 349)
1-Radio Edit (listed 4:08; actual 4:11)

1-Suave House Remix Featuring Eight Ball (listed 4:18; actual 4:17)

I just ordered a copy of what appears to be the THIRD promo CD single for "Anytime." I will post the run times when I receive it, but for now, here is the track list and catalog number:

There's currently one database CD entry where the song runs 4:06 (all other CDs containing the hit version run 4:30-4:33). No comment is listed next to this particular disc at the moment, but I wonder if it's the radio edit faded :05 early?

This version should be labeled as "neither", the intro
doesn't start on the downbeat, and I remember the fade
being looped on the official radio edit.
