my commercial 45 for the bob seger song "you'll accomp'ny me" issued as capitol 4904 states a run time on the label as 3:36 and indeed runs that length and is an edit of the full length 3:58 cd/lp version.....this 45 run time info s/b added to the db.....aaron...thx for the edit you did for me a long time ago....

The singles from Against The Wind were credited to Bob Seger, without the Silver Bullet Band.
The LP version runs 3:58 and sounds quite nice on 1994's Greatest Hits. Here are editing instructions for creating the 45 edit from Greatest Hits: Segment 1: Extends from 0:00.0 to 2:26.8 of both the 45 edit and the LP version. Ends on a downbeat. Remove the 40 beats from 2:26.8 to 2:48.6 of the LP version. Segment 2: Extends from 2:26.8 to 3:38.5 (end) of the 45 edit. Extends from 2:48.6 to 4:00.3 (end) of the LP version. Your mixdown will run 3:37 excluding outro silence, or 3:38.5 including outro silence, with an edit at 2:26.8. Edited by crapfromthepast |
