The actual vinyl LP running time is (7:06) the listed time is 7:05 on the LP record label. (title "Big Fun" Solar BXL1-3479)
There are no CD entries as (LP version) on the database. The time range of the 7:12-7:15 CD entries have the comment of (12h single version but slower). I feel that the 12" version is the same as the LP version.

This is very strange Abagon as my copy of "Big Fun" has a label time of (4:10) and it runs exactly (4:10). Matrix number is simply 10S, catalog number is BXL1-3479.

The matrix number of my "Big Fun" LP is :
Side A (BXL1-3479A-22S) Side B (BXL1-3479A-11)

Side A "listed time on the record label"
1. The Right Time for Us "5:53"
2. Take Me To The River "4:57"
3. Right In The Socket "6:51"

Side B "listed time on the record label"
1. The second time around "7:05"
2. I Owe You One "5:11"
3. Let's Find The Time For Love "4:36"
4. Girl "5:24"

However, the listed time of "The second time around" on the back cover is "4:15"

This is very strange!

I have no doubt what they did here was the same as many other disco era LP's.
After its initial release, they re-cut the LP with the 12" version in place of the shorter LP version.

BTW, thanks for posting the track-list...i long forgot "Right In The Socket" was a big dance club hit from that, haven't heard it since! I must dig that out.....

It doesn't help that there are three mixes of the song, all
considered hit versions.

Yes, Solar remastered the LP and put the 12" single version of "The Second Time Around" after it became a club hit. The 4:10 version was a Top 40 hit single. I played the 12" on weekends since I was allowed to spin some 12" versions of current disco hits on weekends.
I turn up the good and turn down the bad!
