my commercial 45 for the pat boone song 'with the wind and
the rain in your hair' issued as dot 15888 states the run time on the label as 2:35 but actually only runs 2:31....the reader's digest version has the proper sax parts but runs slow....you'll need to pitch that cd version up to match the vinyl 45....this 45 info s/b added to the db.... |

I have now heard the 45 of this track. It sounds rather like the sax (or is it a
clarinet...not sure) on the stereo version is the same, however there is an additional one on top of it on the 45 that harmonizes with it. Open to comments, of course. This begs the question, was this stereo mix used on the stereo single and/or on the 1962 hits LP "Golden Hits - 15 Hits Of Pat Boone", or did it appear years later? Edited by davidclark |
