   I finally tracked down a promo CD single of "Tom's Diner," and here are the details:

A&M 75021 7479 2

1. 12" Version (listed & actual 5:28)

2. 7" Version (listed & actual 3:49)

The cassette single contains the same tracks, although the A-Side has the 7" Version.

There is one CD in the database that runs 5:27 and Pat labels as "remix."  It would probably be more accurate to describe this CD as having the 12" Version.
