my commercial 45 for the johnny rivers song 'poor side of
town' issued as imperial 66205 lists the run time on the label as 3:03 but actually runs 3:04...if you fade the anthology cd version for 0:15 from 2:49 to 3:04 you can effectively re-create the vinyl 45 version.....this 45 run time info s/b added to the db.... |

My commercial mono 45 has extra piano overdubs on the intro so those would still be missing.

Are you sure about that? I don't hear any extra piano on the intro on my mono 45. On both the 45 and stereo CD versions, the piano is very low in the mix (on the intro it's overpowered by the strings, vocal and flute but is more audible on the verses). I don't hear any mix differences between the stereo LP length and the mono 45, other than the standard mono/stereo difference. |
