yeah, I know, not top 40, but...
I have found only "live" versions of this track. Joel Whitburn's BB books show the track as not being "live" (charting in 1972). Further, the 45 face timing is (3:40), which is the same that Joel indicates in his "Pop Annual", but most versions are close to (5:00). Does anyone know if the 45 was a studio version, or an edit of a live version? I can't even locate a studio version of the track! any help much appreciated as always... Edited by davidclark |

Well, the 45 being "live", then wouldn't it need an "L" designation in the BB
book (I have the Top Pop Singles 1955-2010 edition, which does not have it)? Paul Haney comment? |

David, I finally got around to listening to the single version and it's certainly a live recording. I've added the "L" symbol to our database. |
