Thought there was a thread on this, but danged if I can find it.

Were the 45 and LP of this the same? Discogs shows a listed (4:07) version in both promo and stock form, but all the CD versions I've run across run in the (4:16)-(4:21) range.

Thx!
Doug

Doug: Both the mono and stereo sides of my 1977 promo 45, confirmed as
WB 8282, feature both listed & actual times of (4:07). I have just shot you out
a dub of my promo 45's stereo side, for your analysis. Could you let us know
if it turns out to be just an early fade of the LPv, or if a brief edit was
present, whenever time allows?

I've found that song titles with apostrophes never come back in search results. I usually type in the words *up to* the apostrophe and have pretty good success that way. Or I search by the artist and then find the song I'm looking for from the search returns. (Using a unique search word, like "Doobie," narrows the search results.) Not sure if that's a pro tip or unsolicited advice, but there it is.

I think we're all spoiled by Google.

I tried a couple of things--not sure whether I used the apostrophe or not. But duly noted.
