Hi folks.
So I'm perusing the list of DJ edits/additions thread, and saw Steve Carras' post on this:
I do remember a version I heard on radio that edits out the sequence from (2:21)-(2:57) of the 45 version (otherwise, the 45 was the same, IIRC). What I don't know is whether that correctly creates the short promo or whether it was one of those classic WLS edit jobs. Anyone have the short promo to confirm? |

The short version on my promo has a listed time of 2:52.
My music room is torn apart at the moment, so I'm unable to confirm actual length. Edit sounds about right though. Note that the mono promo of this is a different mix with double-tracked vocals. It exists in both 2:52 and 3:30 versions. |
