The only version my former top 40 station ever played of "Just A Girl" by No Doubt is the one on the promo CD single. It's an edit of the LP version, which cuts out the lines "I'm just a girl / take a good look at me / just a typical prototype." This accounts for the 7 second difference in run time compared to the LP version.

I'm guessing what you meant to say in the first sentence was "the only version my former top 40 station ever played... ?? |
