The 45 has a cold ending vs. all of the listings in the
database which fade a few seconds earlier. Would this be a
version difference or a length difference? Did the vinyl LP
version also end cold?

I have his circa 1965 Warner Bros. greatest hits LP and the song fades, but hasn't completely faded when it reaches the cold ending. It's down ~15-
20 dB, but still audible.

That is an exact description of the 45.

The Youtube upload by the 45prof completely fades out and
is clearly not an actual 45 dub. (It also sounds too good
to be a 45 dub.)

I made an 'unlisted' Youtube upload (accessible only via
this link) of a straight dub of my 45:

the45prof used to use CDs as his sources, but has more recently moved
toward dubbing his massive 45s collection (and stating so for each post). I
pointed out to him the difference for this track, and he is going to (or has
already) replaced the CD source with his 45.

So, it just might be safe to assume that the 1964 parent LP "Freddie Cannon"
is the same.
