   The version of "Mama Can't Buy You Love" on "The Complete Thom Bell Sessions" CD is actually a slightly different mix.  

The background vocals on the intro come in later than on the 45 version -- "Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo," right before Elton's first line.  That's repeated twice on the single, but it's only sung once on on the "Thom Bell" CD.
