Whitburn lists the single at 3:30. Pat's listing starts out with a 3:45 version on "Golden Age of Black Music," calling it the "45 version." Then the 3:32 version on "Mega Hits Dance Classics" is listed as "45 version; truncated fade."
Okay... but after that, every other 3:32 version is listed as "45 version" with no notation of a truncated fade... and the 3:45 version on the Entertainment Weekly CDs is ALSO listed as "45 version." Something is off here. So... I know several people here own the 45. Did it run 3:32 or 3:45? |

The actual running time of "Le Freak" is 3:34. The version on "The Golden Age Of Black Music" is the 45 version but runs :11 longer and is slightly slower than the 45.
