Hit #1 this week and last. Is there a clean version of this song or only an explicit?

No official clean version yet.
It is currently not being promoted to Country radio, despite it debuting on Billboard's Country Airplay chart at # 45. Cool conjecture about the cut: I read (not confirmed) that it was recorded with one mic. So with the light stereo reverb on the released file it is technically "Electronically Re-Channeled To Simulate Stereo". Gaaaa! Andy |

This is a "home grown" effort so I would not expect a remix to be
available or possible unless it is re-recorded in a studio. From what I've read about Oliver Anthony he may not care. Hard to believe that in 2023 a bare bones recording would find such success. But in this era of low-res mp3's and folks listening on cheap ear buds clearly great audio quality is no longer necessary or important. |

As of 2005 many studio releases are mp3 quality. It has been that way on many tracks in the last 15 years sadly. Not everything put out is recorded with the highest quality, I agree. |

A YouTube user named Gordo created a clean version -

BTW, he's gotten flack from other YouTube users for
cleaning up the song but it sounds as though if it makes the radio his version would be similar to anything a record company would do. |

Wow!
That edit sounds like one of them "vinyls" them youngsters are listening to these days.....but with a lot of skips. Would've been better with "beeps" (i.e. A Boy Named Sue) Edited by CountryPD |

According to Billboard, the week that it debuted at #1, the
song 'tallied 553,000 radio airplay audience impressions, the bulk on country stations'. I assume that the few stations that have played it made their own edit. |
