I've had a couple questions by paying subscribers about the PayPal email that was sent out on May 1. As announced last month, the annual subscription price has increased from $29.95 to $39.95, which is our first price increase in 20 years. Your subscription and the increase is helping to cover all the programming updates we've done this year, so thank you for being a paid member!

To clarify, the PayPal email does NOT mean you were charged $39.95 yesterday. It is only a notification that the next time your subscription is due to renew it will be at the new price.

Additionally, my main business is called Uptown Sound, and your PayPal subscription for the top 40 database will be billed as Uptown Sound LLC.

You should update /TermsAndConditions.asp to show the new price now that the discount is done.

Also I just used that page to pay with PayPal, and although the payment went through, all that happened on that page was I got a notification overlay in my browser (Edge) with my profile ID. I don't want to paste it here but it starts with "I-0". I kinda expected that I'd be redirected to some kind of "it worked" page instead.

And, I'm a bit unclear on whether I really needed to manually do that, or if my previous subscription would have renewed anyway. I don't want to get double-billed now.
