This is on my need list, I thought Aaron was digging it up to do one of his pristine edits to match what the CD single should have been to what we all heard on the radio..

I'm still hunting through my CD collection to see if I have that V/A Global Basics
CD. I haven't yet found it.

Oh, sorry guys I never saw this thread until now. Aaron, I know exactly where my copy of "Global Basics" is ..i'll pull it tonight and send you the wav.

I'd upload my single edit but I only saved it as an mp3 for my play library. But as you know it's a very easy edit. (I dare even say a "lazy" edit).

Did anyone notice that a U.S. cassette maxi-single
was released with a "D'Ambrosio Radio Mix" and a
copyright of 1994? At first, I thought that it was
issued for the 1996 release. However, look at the
catalogue number (quite different from the 1996 CD
single) and artwork, which promotes the 1994 "I
Like It Like That" soundtrack. Check the link
below for pictures:

I am curious if this "D'Ambrosio Radio Mix" is a
similar edit to the 1996 "Edit" or a unique edit
released only on the cassette maxi-single
(apparently released in 1994)?

Looks like I may have figured it out myself.

The 1998 compilation, "Latin Mix USA", has a 3:47 "Radio
Mix" version of the D'Ambrosio Mix.

So would this be labeled as the LP version of the song or a
neither?

John, I am not certain, but I think that the
"Radio Mix" version on Latin Mix USA is the same
version (listed as "D'Ambrosio Radio Mix") on
the U.S. cassette maxi-single from 1994. Latin
Mix USA credits D'Ambrosio with production In
the liner notes. The LP version would be the
version on the "I Like It Like That" soundtrack,
listed as "Album Mix" on some releases. It's the
version featured in the promo video here:

This was serviced on TM Century 180A HitDisc, though I have no idea what version it might be. I guess I need to pull the disc to see if it is Mono or Stereo.

Does anyone know what version is used in the video game Just Dance
4
? It appears to be shorter than either of the single versions.
