John, this Original Version is really good. I appreciate you sending the link. I haven't A-B'd it with other mixes to see just how it differs ... I assume this mix is only available on the one promo CD that Todd mentioned earlier.

Based on what Aaron has recently posted here, the A-side of cassette singles are considered the "single version" and not the B-side.

Of course, what others have posted even in just this one post, between AC, hot AC, & CHR/pop stations, I guess there's some gray area in what is THE single version - especially when multiple radio formats had their own mixes sent to them from the record labels.
