"You’ve Got to Crawl..." - The 8th Day

Regarding the Top 40 hit "You've Got to Crawl (Before You Walk)" by The 8th Day, the database states that the Soul Hits of the 70's Volume 6 CD on Rhino 70786 contains the 45 version but runs :11 longer.  I've done an A-B comparison between that CD and a dub of Jim's commercial vinyl 45 and have discovered some significant differences.  On Jim's 45, there is a tambourine overdub starting at the :02 mark that is not present on the Soul Hits CD.  Also, the CD contains some background vocals beginning at the :24 point not heard on the 45.

So unless you have a different 45 pressing that suggests otherwise, Pat, the version of "You've Got to Crawl..." on the Soul Hits CD is not the 45 version as the database currently indicates.
