I recently received the Joel Whitburn books "Top Pop Playlists 1970-1984" & "1985-1999". They're really fun and I highly recommend them. Last night I was using the playlists to make my own playlists on my cell phone. But when I got to 1988, I didn't find "Kokomo" there (it reached #1, Nov. 1988). Is there a reason this wouldn't have been included - or did I get something wrong? I didn't see it any of the nearby months either.

Yes, both "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys (peaked at #1 on 11/5/88) and "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" by Belinda Carlisle (peaked at #1 on 12/5/87) are missing from that particular book. I don't think there are any more missing, but if you find any others, please let me know.

I hadn't noticed "Heaven is a Place on Earth". I'll have to see if it's on my playlists I made from these.
