Wicked Mix, not to be confused with the 'Wicked' Bay Area rave promoter/DJ collective active in the same era, was one of those subscription services for DJs. It's no longer active. I was never a subscriber and have never seen any of their releases; I just know about them.

These kinds of services often made their own remixes, but without access to original multitrack master tapes or stems. Sometimes it was just a matter of re-editing existing songs(s), and maybe putting their own beats or sampled loops on top. The quality of the results varied quite a bit—some were atrocious, some were excellent, many were mediocre. Some were entirely unauthorized, but some were authorized through a blanket license as long as it was kept to certain formats and limited availability.

The fact that you have noticed that there is a version which is similar suggests that the remix you're searching for may have been created using that version as a starting point.

Not every mix made by these services would necessarily have been released. Some were just passed around among DJs and played at gigs. A quick search on Discogs suggests that's the case with this particular remix you're looking for; it probably only ever appeared on that mix CD, in that 3:14, blended, incomplete form.

A DJ mix CD has tracks blended together, so you can expect that any track taken from the middle of such a CD is probably going to begin and end abruptly. So the 3:14 version you heard on Pandora is certainly taken from this CD.

The Mixtress, who made the mix CD you're asking about, was associated with Wicked Mix, and as per the Discogs page you linked to, she made the mix at Wicked Mix Recording Studios. Her current contact info is on her profile page on Discogs. You should just write to her and see if she has a digital copy she might be willing to share.

By the way, I know of two websites which provide comprehensive indexes for DJ remix service releases:

https://www.remixservices.com/
and
https://www.hotdiscomix.de/remix_services/index.htm

The latter is in German but is easy enough to navigate. Interpeten A–Z means Performers A–Z.

It looks like a remix-service version of Spring Love has been on X-Mix Issue 33 (1996) and a Select Mix compilation CD (Freestyle Tracks vol. 1) in 2008. I doubt these are what you are looking for, but if you look on Discogs, you can sometimes get more details, e.g. the X-Mix version was called "Spring Love (Cannavo's Masspool Megamix)", so then you can go search that up on YouTube. The other CD I can't find much info about, but it's not hard to search for spring love select mix on YouTube.
