   A huge hit in 1959 it appears that the correct mono 45 version is not on CD at the correct 45 time. Pat's database shows 3:16 as the running time. I can confirm that is correct.

The following 45 runs 3:16 exactly on youtube

The 45 prof has it running 3:25 but that was a long time ago before his dubs. This huge hit has been issued in stereo as well.

If anyone knows of any source on CD that is mono and runs 3:16 let me know. I thought it was worth a mention since Ed went with the 3:10 mono on CD, which obviously runs too short.

	John, We've been busy trying to figure out how Pat got the 3:16 time. We have three dubs, 3 different times. Way confusing.

	Looks as though the original 45 ran 3:21 but was sped up somewhere in the CD era. The stereo versions have echo not present on the 45. T would say the mono 3:10 versions are sped up 3.5% and fade early. Not sure what's on the original vinyl LP, but would this be a version difference to be noted in the database?
