A huge hit in 1959 it appears that the correct mono 45 version is not on CD at the correct 45 time. Pat's database shows 3:16 as the running time. I can confirm that is correct.
The following 45 runs 3:16 exactly on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pvc7DcvdccI&list=RDPvc7DcvdccI&start_radio=1 The 45 prof has it running 3:25 but that was a long time ago before his dubs. This huge hit has been issued in stereo as well. If anyone knows of any source on CD that is mono and runs 3:16 let me know. I thought it was worth a mention since Ed went with the 3:10 mono on CD, which obviously runs too short. |
