my commercial cassingle for the brent bourgeois song "dare to fall in love" issued as chrisma 98971 states the version as the "single edit" with a listed run time of 3:59 but actually runs 4:02.....i found the correct single version on the usa promo cd single issued as chrisma chr prcd 001 and the tracks listed below....

1-single edit (3:59 listed; 4:02 actual)
3-lp version (4:07 listed; 4:05 actual)

this info s/b added to the db....

What is the difference between the single and lp
version? they are almost identical in track duration.
Is it a different mix or faded a few second early?

File this under the "why'd they bother" category, but
the drum machine loop in the intro repeats three times
on the LP version, and only twice on the single. I
believe that's the only difference.

That's kind of like what they did with the 45 Version of
Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time". The instrumental part
after the first chorus was played twice on the Album, but
only once on the single. And like this song, it only made
a few seconds of difference between the Album and Single
Versions.
