   my commercial 45 for the eddie kendricks song "he's a friend" issued as tamla 54266 states the run time on the label as 3:22 but actually runs 3:28 and is just an early fade of the 4:40 full length cd version.....if you fade out for 0:16 from 3:12 to 3:28 you will effectively re-create the vinyl 45 version.....the d/b currently states the 4:40 length version as "lp version" when it should be re-stated as "lp length"

	I'm hearing a subtle difference in the mix between the album version and 45 version of "He's A Friend". In the album mix, the trumpet solo beginning at 2:20 is in the same channel as the funky wah-wah guitar. (Both are on the right, in my headphones) But in the 45 mix, the trumpet solo is opposite the guitar, with the trumpet on the left and the wah-wah guitar on the right.
