My promo 45 has the (4:03)(Edit), listed and actual run time, commercial 45 version on one side, and a (3:55)(Edit), listed and actual run time on the other. Deadwax 7-29195-CNY-3299-VI-S-SH1 R-13329-SH1. This (3:55) side removes the opening intro rap, though later instances of the "Chaka Khan + raps" are left in, while a music bed is present, at later points of this version.

As a supplement to Jim's promo 45 info above, Abagon reports his commercial 45 copy of Chaka Khan's "I Feel for You" has an actual run time of 4:05.

I have 2 promo copies of this. One is like Jim's, the other has the 4:03 version on both sides.
I don't ever recall hearing the edit on the air. Edited by Hykker |
