My sometimes dependable memory says the stereo mix is a different or later take than the 1963 hit single. After listening to both, I'm thinking they're the same. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Gary, the "Maria Elena" 45 came out 5 1/2 years after the recording's first appearance on the 1958 Sweet And Savage LP. To my ears, they're the same take.
