My commercial 45, which is mono, has a listed time of (2:40), and an actual time of (2:41). I post this info because its only database CD appearance, from his self-titled album, states a time of (3:04).

I do not have the vinyl 45 of this song so I cannot compare the 45 and LP to see if this is just a length difference or a real version difference. I can only confirm that the cd length is not a typo as it does run (3:04) so if anyone out there has the 45, can you let us know if the 45 is a "45 version" or "45 length"?

This isn't going to help....or is it? I have an Atlantic mono/stereo promo 45 and both sides have a 2:40 run time on the label.

The mono side is 2:41, just like Jim's regular 45; however, the stereo mix is just 2:37, so it must be sped up very slightly.

The (3:04) time is an LP version which has now been added to the database.

I did the edit this weekend and it does run 2:41

Starting at 2:00 into the song you cut from the 4th "Sit yourself down" (right on the down beat of "sit") 2:17 to the 7th "Sit yourself down" (again on the downbeat) 2:32 and then fade off a few seconds of the ending note to get to 2:41.
