   my commercial 45 for the rose royce song "do your dance-

part 1" issued as whitfield 8440 states the run time on the 

label as 3:29 but runs only 3:26 and is just an early fade 

of the 5:21 version from the cd below

 (S)     (5:21)   &nb sp; Whitfield 3457  Greatest Hits  (neither the 

45 nor LP version)

if you fade for 0:13 from 3:13 to 3:26 you'll effectively 

re-create the true vinyl 45 version....
