oh yeah try and find that album if you can - i wish i
still had it.
This really stiff announcer is talking you thru each dance
step in the most clinical way, it's a riot.
You can almost "hear" him wearing a lab coat, holding a
clipboard and using a pointer.

Mark, thanks a million for sharing those "announcer" source details. I also
loved both your "don't know why that album was at my house....no one was
learning to dance!" and your "lab coat/clipboard/pointer" visual is spot on!

But one question remains. Did K-Tel even know that the song lifted "source
audio" from one of their own LPs, and then try to demand a "sampling fee"
from Atlantic? My guess? No. And the statute of limitations has probably
passed. As for K-Tel? I've read bankruptcy articles several times over the
years for the label, but then they've "re-appeared" with new product a couple
of times, since the 70's.

Yes, the "radio version" on the commercial cassingle and promo CD is the
same as the album version on "Best Of".
