The Warner Brothers vinyl LP "Junkfood Junkie" is the same as the 45 except the following track starts during audience applause at (3:10) on the LP while the 45 runs to (3:14) and fades out. Other than that difference I hear no difference between the LP and 45 version.

how does the 45 run longer? did they let the applause run and remove the
next track from the tape when preparing the 45?

Warner Brothers overdubbed the following track on the vinyl LP before the audience applause had ceased but let it run longer on the 45.

Unless some 45 pressings are different, I have to agree with Mark that I hear additional reverb on the LP version. The 45 sounds dry, but the LP has stereo reverb.
