Jim reports his commercial 45 copy of Linda Ronstadt's "Tumbling Dice" has an actual and printed run time of 3:05. Database CD appearances of this song (not including the two non-hit "live" entries) run 3:00-3:06. Jim further informs me the fade is longer on the 45 than what is usually heard on CD.

Underground Dub, as I recall, the (3:05) 45 version doesn't actually run any
longer than the CD versions. On the 45, the fade simply starts audibly earlier than the fade on the CD versions do, that's all. |
