   for any and all that may want to know, i downloaded the 

song 'pledge of love' from the cd 'the mitchell torok 

collection: 1949-1960' issued on the acrobat label and 

it's the same version as the vinyl 45 i have...so this cd 

contains the original version and not a re-recording....
