   There was both a promo (Capitol P-V-17209) and a stock (Capitol V-17209) 

12" single issued for this song. Both included two versions of "Election Day": 

a listed  (4:30) "Single Version", and a listed (8:39) "Concensus Mix".

Pat currently has the latter version specified on one CD in his db, but there is 

no current note that this was the 12" single mix. So I at least wanted to note 

that fact on here now.
