Genesis - Turn It On Again - Tour Edition

   I just picked up the 2007 Genesis release Turn It On Again - The Hits - The Tour Edition and was surprised to discover that the songs have been remixed, as the notes state. For some tracks the differences are subtle, but for others they are immediately apparent. For example, the opening drums on "Land Of Confusion" sound noticeably different.

	Yeah, all of their albums and b-sides were remixed in 5.1 and 2.0 for DVD-Audio/CD releases in 2007 and the 2.0 mixes were assembled for this collection. Some of the new mixes sound great, but definitely avoid this --and any of the 2007 album reissues-- if you're seeking out Genesis' original hit versions.
