As far as I know, CDCL 612 is a U.K. CD single. There is another
European CD single that labels the 3:56 version "Video Edit."

Ah, that explains it. Thanks, Aaron. I should've checked that. The early '90s is quite the challenge rummaging through the myriad versions.

It definitely is! If I'm not mistaken, Capitol used "C2" as a catalog
number prefix for US commercial CD singles.

Edtop40 just reported that the actual timing for the
radio edit on the US cassingle is 4:46.

The only radio edit I know times in at 4:46. Where did you find this 3:58 version on CD?

Discogs says it's from merry ol' England. The US "Radio Edit" is (as per Edtop40) 4:46. The UK "Radio Edit" appears to be 3:58.
