New visitor, older radio host. I'm resurrecting the post trying to locate the LP version of "Fool If You Think It's Over". Any decent ORIGINAL 1978 version? Prefer LP over 45Edit from music hell. Appreciate it. Had a request on my 70's oldies radio show the "Vinyl Hour" on LPFM here. Thanks fellow music lovers.

Howdy, fellow radio host!

My go-to for the LP version has always been Mystic Music/Warner Special Products' 2-CD mail order Good Times (1991). Nice dynamic range, good EQ, decent source tapes, no evidence of noise reduction on the fade. I did my own edit of this disc to recreate the 45. The Eric Records version on Hard To Find 45s On CD Vol. 8: Seventies Pop Classics has added noise reduction.

I see that Culture Factory rereleased the full Whatever Happened To Benny Santini? album, but I don't have it and can't comment on sound quality.

Hope that helps!
There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.

I was going to make the same suggestion to you as Ron.

I'll have to check if I have that CD in my library.
