I have really sad news to report... "OldiesLover" Steve Massie has passed away, in the last couple days. Many of us saw his name on most of the Varese Vintage CD's where he was responsible for a lot of the sound on hundreds of their CD's. I met Steve when he was a promotion man for RCA in the Chicago area and he would stop in my store; he soon moved on to PGD (Polygram) and then on to Sony. I cannot begin to list the people that knew him and welcomed his musical knowledge. He will be missed... -Bill.
