Does anyone have the 45 for "When I Hear Music" by Debbie Deb? I'm wondering if the 3:40 time on the label is accurate and what was edited. It's not a cheap 45, and I'm not curious enough to spend $25+ on one.

Not a top 40 hit but certainly should have been one here in NY!
I've always wondered about the 45 version. Thanks Dave! |

Aaron, are you able to recreate the 45 version?

The YouTube video clearly shows the French 45's picture sleeve, notable for an error in the title: "When I Hear The Music." It could be the same version found on the US 7", but it's hard to say for sure.

Both "When I Hear Music" and "Lookout Weekend" were both popular recurrent tracks on Providence/Boston radio into the late 1990's. WWKX Providence was heavily
freestyle/dance oriented. Same with WFHN. Various edits of both songs were shared in different lengths. I didn't know they were pressed on 45 until this post. Yes, this would be a great restoration project for the audio masters among us! |
