I have a Sony/Aware test pressing (A9B19QK1S) with one track listed as Radio Edit with a listed time of 3:44 and actual time of 3:42.

I never heard the Pop Mix on the radio that is 3:43, only the Now 4 US version, which was the radio version.

Here are all the various versions of "Meet Virginia" I have on promo CD singles:
Album Version (4:00) Edit (3:47) (edit of the LP version, cutting guitar solo in half) Pop Mix (3:43) (also called "Radio Edit" on a promo CD-R) Radio Version #1 (3:57) (most notable by electric guitar overdubs after guitar solo just before last verse) Radio Version #2 (3:57) (almost identical to Radio Version #1, but lead vocal is slightly louder and lead guitar slightly lower) |

Anyone know if you were to edit the song to create the pop
mix (3:43), which version of the song would be used, the LP Version, one of the radio mixes from the promo cd (CSK 41775) or none of the above as it is a unique mix? Edited by promojunkie |

TM Century lists Radio Version #1 and Radio Version #2 in
their online database so that would appear to be the version(s) that received the most airplay. |

I think the promo is available for cheap. Why recreate? |

Favorite two expressions to live by on this board: "You can't download vinyl" and "Not everything is available on CD."
