i had, copied and sold the promo cd single for the song
"just like a pill' by pink a long time ago and it contained multiple versions, one of which was a 'clean version' which scrambled the word 'bitch'...does anyone own this promo cd single that they could provide the details? Edited by edtop40 |

Just checked my copy, Arista ARPCD-5131 and it contains 3
tracks: 1. Album version (listed 3:57) 2. Clean version (listed 3:57) 3. Instrumental (listed 3:52) The clean version does indeed have the word "bitch" scrambled...almost sounds like the vocal was reversed. BTW: the correct title is "Just Like A Pill". |

I have the U.S. promo CD for "Just Like a Pill", and the
3 tracks are different mixes than the "Missundaztood" Album Version. In other words, the promo CD features a remixed version of the song. The Album Version on the promo CD does not sound the same as the Album Version on "Missundaztood". The promo CD Album Version (which, I have renamed as "Radio Version") is a beefier, more bass heavy mix. Has anyone else noticed this? |

Not the first P!nk song to differ from the LP version. I think You Make Me Sick's radio edit also was very different as it cut out a lot of the talk.
Often the released singles for P!nk in her early years don't match the LP versions, especially on that first album... |

I was quite surprised when I received my promo CD to
hear the different mix of "Just Like a Pill". I wonder if it exclusive to the U.S. promo CD. I have an import of "Just Like a Pill" that lists it as the "Radio Edit", but it sounds just like the "Missundaztood" album version to me. Or, perhaps the the U.S. commercial CD single, which was limited to 3 markets, of "Just Like a Pill" featured the same version on the promo CD: https://www.discogs.com/Pnk-Just-Like-A- Pill/release/2321465 Can anyone confirm if the Album Version on the U.S. CD single features this alternate mix, too? |

On a side note, anyone have this promo of Just A Pill? It is one of the best mixes of the song and seems to only be on this.
