I'm having trouble with determining which version of the song is the "hit" version. This song re-charted in 2008 after charting the previous year in the U.S. and there are some promos for this song.
There is a 3:22 version on the 2006 promo without Ghostface Killah: https://www.discogs.com/Amy-Winehouse-And-Ghostface-Killah-Y ou-Know-Im-No-Good/release/5187613 There is a 3:36 version on the 2006 promo with Ghostface Killah: https://www.discogs.com/Amy-Winehouse-And-Ghostface-Killah-Y ou-Know-Im-No-Good/release/5187613 There is also a CDR promo in 2007: The radio version is 3:38 https://www.discogs.com/Amy-Winehouse-You-Know-Im-No-Good/re lease/9680828 The version Feat Ghostface Killah is also 3:38 https://www.discogs.com/Amy-Winehouse-You-Know-Im-No-Good/re lease/9680828 So the CD version on her album is 4:23, which is on another CDR Promo. If I had to guess, I'd say the CD-R times are misprinted. Notice the "forthcoming album" wording on it, which indicates it had not yet been released in the US. The promo with full artwork and factory pressed disc may have come out after the CD-R (despite the 2006 copyright) and probably has the same two versions.

My original US CD copy of the "Back To Black" album (which
used an alternate cover design to the UK version featuring a shot of Amy in the bathtub from the "You Know I'm No Good" music video shoot) contains the album version as well as the rap remix tacked on as a bonus track. I don't think I ever heard the rap remix beyond the album. All I ever heard was the album version back in the day. I actually made my own edit for my own amusement by tacking on the cold ending from the remix in place of the fade out on the album mix. Edited by LunarLaugh |
