Does anyone know which version was actually
predominantly played on the radio? It seems like there were 3 different track 1's on the various promo cds (Album, Remix, Special Radio). I don't remember which I heard on the radio. Thanks for any info! Edited by Kiefer2 |

Thanks for posting the info above regarding the lossy versions. I was unaware of this, and it was the shock of my life when
I just tested the "Album Version" from my copy of the "Step By Step (The Remixes)" commercial CD single to see that it's roughly equivalent to a 128k(!) MP3. However, some good news is that the 4:58 "Teddy Riley Remix" is lossless on this CD. The "Teddy Riley Remix" running 4:14 on the 2-track CD single (which received some airplay) and the 4:34 "Remix" version on the The Preacher's Wife soundtrack are simple early fades of this 4:58 version. |
