We played the song from a cart, no glass. I do recall
hearing a station that alternated versions, when they
played the version with the glass breaking, they'd drop in
a quick shotgun jingle between the sfx and the song.

Going from the Audio Fidelity mastering, the fade starts at
3:50, immediately after the word "wrong," and ends a hair
before 4:01. The very last thing you hear is "Uh-uh!"

Does this fade reflect the commercial 45 or the DJ 45
with the glass shatter removed?

Much appreciated, Brian. Which means, if you remove the
glass shatter, it times out to 3:57 for the DJ version
which matches the listed time in the database.
