Hi People,
Revisiting this thread, does anyone out there have that 4:00 'Yesteryear' version to share? I would love to hear that longer ending!! [P.M. me if you don't already know my email.] Thank you. Andy |

Beware: there are multiple versions of the Yesteryear reissue. My copy also is listed 3:40 but runs 3:46. Also listed as Y584F, but different deadwax: Y584-A T54245F-02423-XC 07B [Delta] 94013. |

The DJ short version of the song is here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bJspVlSzXI It is as I remembered it, and might be created by editing the LP cut. Am gonna give it the old high school try! Edited by garye |

garye, there is a portion of the intro on the short DJ version that does not appear in the commercial 45 or LP. So unfortunately it cannot be re-created without taking that portion from the DJ 45 or the re-issue that has the DJ intro.

Mark, I did that edit three times. What I finally did was concentrate on the drums because what I noticed is that the commercial 45 beat is steady. I had given up on that "yeahhhh" bit. I hope that 45 edit makes its appearance one day if someone can convince Stevie to give it up. |
