Just an aside but Taylor's "I Look In People's Windows" is listed as being from 2026 in the database and I do not think that's
correct.

Would the remix - no rap be considered an officially
released version since that's what most radio stations
played?

Good point, yes. I have added a note about the no rap version of "Bad Blood" and fixed "...Windows."

As far as I can determine, the remix without Kendrick Lamar has never been
commercially released, either physically or digitally.

Just curious if any of our resident message board disc jockeys who were still involved in Top 40 radio at the time "Bad Blood" was a hit in 2014/2015 ever received a digital copy of the "Remix - No Rap" version without Kendrick Lamar from the record label?

And, speaking of which, that leads me to this question... Given that labels had pretty much abandoned delivering physical media to radio stations by this point and time, is anyone aware of any online sources that list or document promo digital downloads that were perhaps serviced exclusively to radio stations but not to the public?

I wasn't in radio anymore back in 2015 (left the business
in 1997), but I did receive the song on TM Studios
PrimeCuts.

On PrimeCuts, they issued the remix with Kendrick Lamar on
5/22/2015. They issued the Remix-No Rap on 6/5/2015.

95.5 WPLJ radio in New York played the Album Version (they added a short instrumental intro rather than having the song start with the vocals).

I used to own the No Rap Remix but I always preferred the Album Version.

Radio stations often make instrumentals of the first few notes so they can talk over.

I have edits of Lucid Dreams and Youngblood which specifically replaced the talking at the beginning of Lucid Dreams on the LP version and created a long instrumental at the beginning of Youngblood rather then start with the vocal.

Another example is the version of Delicate by Taylor Swift I heard that has a reverbish echo after a long instrumental and then goes into the normal song. Iheart and other stations near where I am in Albany often did these unique edits in house I presume.
Favorite two expressions to live by on this board: "You can't download vinyl" and "Not everything is available on CD."
