If you haven't, check out youtube as folks frequently post their 45's. Like anything it could be inaccurate but is a solid starting place.

You can reach out to me via PM if you need assistance verifying times or edits. Currently working on assembling the entire Hot 100 from 1958 through present and others as well on the board have tracked down numerous 45's to make the proper edits from LP versions.
I wish you success with your endeavor. |

Favorite two expressions to live by on this board: "You can't download vinyl" and "Not everything is available on CD."

Hello, Here are the ones that aren't on YouTube that I need audio for, or i may have to just buy them on Discogs:
Supertramp- Bloody Well Right (Promo 45 version) 3:00 Supertramp- Ain't Nobody But Me (Promo 45 version) 3:36 Grand Funk (RR)- Mean Mistreater (45) 3:50 I've been able to either find (or bought) the others on my list (easily over 100 titles) in recent years. db |

"Bloody Well Right" is mostly a straight edit but also involves looping a chorus at the end. Here's how to trim down the LP version:
- remove 0:00 to 0:51 of the LP version (song opens with the snare hit) - keep 0:51 to 1:08 of the LP version (edit on the snare hit) - remove 2:40 to 2:43 of the LP version (edit on downbeat) - keep 2:43 to 3:37 of the LP version - remove 3:37 to end of the LP version (edit should be on the kick drum before the snare downbeat) - copy 3:25 (starting with kick drum just before the snare) to 3:37 and paste it at the end four times in a row - slow down your file by 0.5% (the promo runs slightly slower than the LP version) - fade out from 2:48 to 3:00 and remove everything beyond 3:00 The promo has a touch of compression added to it, but it's the same mix as the LP version.
